Seems like Christmas is a time for reminiscing. I went to bed last night with a jumble of thoughts in my head. Some funny, some sad. I remembered Freddys' first Christmas....he was just a month old. We have pictures of him with his Great Grandma Beep. Thats what we called her, because when she would get close and hug you her hearing aid would beep. So, she always was called Grandma Beep. Such a sweet woman, I still miss her. I remember her telling me stories of when she had her kids, such details that she never forgot. I loved her like she was my Grandmother, in fact I was closer to her than I was my own grandparents. I thought of when Bubba was about 2 years old and we had a paper route. He decided to throw his shoe out the window....what a time we had finding that shoe. Because of course we didn't realize it was gone until we got home. I remembered when I could first put Abigails hair in piggy tails, she was 2 years old. Such beautiful blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Now she is 11 years old, tall and thin. I remember my little Miah, such a chubby, squishy baby. Such a sweet little guy. So many memories. Such happy times. Makes me love having a large family.
As a side note, it's 65 degrees here today and our snow is GONE.

Sounds like some sweet memories. I love the shoe out the window, lol. Very funny, unless you're the one having to hunt for it:) We've done paper routes (and phone books) to add to the income in the past as well.
When hubby and I were engaged we decided we wanted to have 5-7 children. Then I found out I might not be able to have any at all due to some female issues. Now having 3 seems like an incredible blessing; however, I still haven't been able to quite accept not being able to have more. I keep hoping that they'll find something to help HG (severe pregnancy condition I have) but I'm afraid age is catching up with me. I have to admit feeling a bit of envy for those who have big families. Sometimes it's hard to understand how some people who don't want children can have them so easily. I quess in heaven I'll probably be too distracted with other things to bring that question up;) Here I go rambling again...I agree, you're very blessed to have 5 beautiful children. And they're blessed to have parents who realize what a blessing they are, and are working so hard to raise them well.
Beautiful thoughts to fall asleep to! I can still picture Freddy's curly mop when we first met you. I mix up some memories of Miah and Josiah though. I wish I had more of Katelyn! =) You really are so very blessed. God has formed and fashioned you and your family through all the hardships you've gone through to make you a honourable vessel unto Him!
Lots of love to you!
You changed your blog! I love the colors in this background.
I'm tagging you. If you can't get to it right away, don't worry about it:)
